It does not cover the blue·auth web application, which has
its own policy.
It takes a document you are already looking at and hands it to your blue·auth account, so you do not have to download it and upload it again. The document may come from the page you have open, from an attachment listed on that page, from a file on your computer, or from a capture of the page itself.
The extension does not upload your documents. It passes the file directly to the blue·auth page open in your browser, and the document only reaches our servers if you complete the action on that page yourself. If you close the page without finishing, the document was never sent anywhere.

Nothing is read from a tab you did not act on, and the extension does not run in the background on the pages you browse.
Only your blue·auth session token and your interface preferences, in the browser's own extension storage on your device. The sign-in happens on blueauth.co through OAuth 2.0 with PKCE, so the extension never sees your password, and the session is a revocable token rather than a credential. Signing out of the extension removes it.
No browsing history. No analytics or tracking of any kind. No health, financial or location data. No passwords or verification codes. The extension contains no advertising and no third-party trackers.
A document you choose to send may itself contain personal data — a contract usually carries names and identification numbers. The extension does not read, extract or analyse that content; it transports the file you selected. Once the document reaches your blue·auth account, it is handled under the blue·auth privacy policy, where you are the controller of your own documents and may delete them at any time.
We do not sell your data. We do not transfer it to third parties for any purpose unrelated to the single purpose above, and we do not use it to determine creditworthiness or for lending.
Under the GDPR you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may object to processing or ask for it to be restricted. Write to privacy@blueauth.co and we will answer within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Portuguese supervisory authority, CNPD.
Uninstalling it from Chrome deletes everything it stored on your device. Documents already delivered to your blue·auth account are not affected and are managed from that account.
If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top and describe the change on this page.
